VISUAL Enterprise supports Engineering Change Notice (ECN) functionality, which allows you to establish controls and manage the process of making changes to documents, drawings, parts, and Bills of Material (BOMs), as well as routings, work orders, and projects.

Using the ECN component of VISUAL Enterprise, you can easily create ECN process flows with multiple ECN user groups and notification systems. Throughout the change process, VISUAL Enterprise maintains a comprehensive audit trail of changes to the ECN record, and changes to Bills of Material and routings. When you make a change, VISUAL allows you to apply the change to an individual in-process work order, or apply it globally, then automatically update either part or document revision levels upon making the changes.
